My dear friends own a small ranch in Blanco Texas. I've spent some time in and around the property, and each time I'm there something catches my eye. I've done several paintings from there. Here I was laying down in the grass enjoying the surroundings, and this gal took notice, I think to let me know I was getting a little to close. I took this reference photo from down in the grass, I really liked the perspective with the high horizon line, it feels up close and personal.
